Request a New Account

In order to properly request a new BX account, there are two methods available:

• (preferred) A web-based form is also available here: http://admin.bx.psu.edu/requests/account/
• Fill out a BX Account Request Form and return it to 507 Wartik Lab.

Password Change

The only officially supported method for changing passwords is to use the following URL

http://admin.bx.psu.edu/password/

From the command line

If you are on one of our systems and the command exists:

/usr/heimdal/bin/kpasswd

Password Reset

There is no way for the system administrators to retrieve your current password. To have your BX password reset to a new, known password, please email admin-at-bx.psu.edu
