BX:Mail:Configuring Pine and Alpine

In general, the settings in pine/alpine that matter:

• user-domain=bx.psu.edu
• smtp-server=smtp.bx.psu.edu:587/novalidate-cert/tls/user=<username>
• inbox-path={imap.bx.psu.edu:993/norsh/novalidate-cert/ssl/user=<username>}inbox

'default-fcc and postponed-foldercan be set so that sent email and postponed messages will be stored on the server.

In order to access and check folders besides INBOX, incoming-folders may also be set.
